WE ARE WHIP - AN ECO-CEntric BOUTIQUE HAIRDRESSER, BARBER AND MUSIC LOUNGE SET WITHIN THE BUSTLING BACKDROP OF EAST LONDON and now in the heart of brighton’s lanes!

Our core values are sustainability, inclusivity and creativity, proudly stocking forward-thinking vegan, organic and cruelty- free products from revolutionary brand Oway. We have a genderless policy servicing barnets from all backgrounds including styling, cutting and colouring for afro hair.

Out of hairdressing hours we play host to events including art & photgraphy shows, live music sessions and DJs.

SUSTAINABILITY

As East London and Brighton’s biggest eco-enthusiasts, we are always investigating ways to improve our impact on the environment. Here are some examples in which we thrive on whipping this into practice…

Suppliers brands
We carefully cherry-pick brands in line with our ethos that are nothing less than innovative industry leaders. We currently supply Evo, Oway and Olaplex all offering vegan, organic, cruelty-free products for all hair types.

Recycling
All packaging, hair waste and anything in between is 100% recycled.

Service
WhiP uses an eco water system with waste-less-water shower heads and paper “foils” for colour services.

Training
All staff go through thorough training programmes with our sustainable brands as well as adopting consciousness, care and consideration for mother earth.

Interior
WhiP thrives on finding second hand treasures to deck-out our venues and where possible upcycling pieces to make them a WhiP one-of-a-kind ;)

Hospitality
Similarly to our hair products, we carefully select creative and eco-friendly local drinks partners to support our local communities
